Dr. Roettger is the Bio-Partnering Director and Head of Therapeutic Innovation at IAG, an Image Analysis Group with advanced computational program for visualization of images such as CT Scans for cancers and other diseases. She works closely with biotech clients to secure funding, design and optimise drug and device development strategies as well as find, evaluate and purchase assets. IAG is a strategic partner to bio-pharmaceutical companies developing new treatments to improve patients’ lives through accelerated novel drug development. IAG broadly leverages its core imaging expertise, proprietary technology platform DYNAMIKA and capabilities to support an objective early go/no go decision and drive excellence for tomorrow’s innovative therapeutic agents with speed.
Prior to joining IAG, Dr. Roettger worked as Research Observer at Harvard Medical School to develop software for medical diagnosis and treatment planning. She was the Project Leader at University of Koblenz-Landau, Germany, working on multimodal Visualization for Neurosurgical Planning at the Institute for Computational Visualistics, and as Research Observer at University of Helsinki
in the field of neuroscience and software for neurosurgical planning.
Dr. Roettger earned her PhD in Computational Visualistics at Institute for Medical Engineering and Information Processing, University of Koblenz-Landau, Germany on her thesis: Evaluation of 3D Level Set Approaches for the Quantification of Aortic Aneurysms. She also completed her graduate programs on
Medical Informatics at the Department of Information Technology Lappeenranta University of Technology, Lappeenranta, Finland
