MedTherapy as a patient-centric corporation is dedicated to its mission through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Our Corporate Social Responsibility is primarily focused upon cancer prevention. We implement our cancer prevention programs with the help of a globally reputed non-profit partner, the Boston-based International Health Organization (IHO).

‘International Health Organization’ (IHO), founded in 1992 by a group of health experts at Harvard University under the leadership of former US Ambassador and Professor Emeritus John Kenneth Galbraith is a non-profit charitable organization providing free preventive healthcare services in US and developing countries for PREVENTION of diseases including Cancer prevention.

In addition, MedTherapy has partnership with many US and global public, private, charitable and academic institutions including cancer patient advocacy organizations. Organization involved in cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment are welcome to enter into partnerships with us! We also welcome partnership for joint production of cell, gene and immunotherapies for cancer. Any partnership is welcome as long as it is predicated upon common belief towards:

  • Cancer prevention
  • Developing the most sophisticated and effective cutting edge therapies for cancer
  • Making these therapies affordable for the masses.

 

Cancer Prevention

Cancer is a dreaded disease. It is now fast becoming one of the leading causes of death worldwide. However, there is a silver living – many of the cancers are PREVENTABLE through preventive measures!

MedTherapyBiotech in partnership with International Health Organization (IHO) provides education and screening services for the prevention of several cancers:

  •    Lung cancer
  •    Cervical cancer
  •    Gastrointestinal cancers
  •    Prostate cancer
  •    Breast cancer
  •    Liver cancer and
  •    Skin cancers among others.

We are also trying to provide more advanced diagnostic services for early detection of cancers. Our programs also educate people especially in rural areas to change life styles which are linked to cancers. We also educate on smoking cessation, second-hand smoking, obesity, and chewing tobacco cessation.

Signs and symptoms of cancer:

  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Persistent low-grade fever
  • Easily bruised or bleeding
  • Loss of appetite, change in bowel movement
  • Blood in urine or stool
  • Enlarged, often tender, lymph nodes
  • Rash
  • Enlarged, often tender, lymph nodes
  • Fever

  • Night sweats
  • Severe itching
  • Unexplained persistent pain in abdomen
